1) Preparing the support surface
Make sure that the surface is dry, clean and even.
- Hard surfaces (bitumen, concrete, wood, terraces)
Remove all rubbish and dust.
Fill any holes.
- Loose ground (soil) : Remove any vegetation and leave a smooth, permeable, stable surface.
Gardens: You could, but it is not absolutely necessary, put a 2cm to 5cm layer of clayey sand (not supplied) to give a dense, smooth quite permeable surface as subgrade.
Sports grounds: Synthetic lawns must be prepared and laid by professionals.

2) Laying the turf
- Small areas
Completely unroll. Take care to fix the edges well by placing something heavy on them (e.g. flower boxes)

- Large areas
For joins, it is possible to use self-adhesive tape sold in the accessories section.

3) Turf maintenance
Remove dead leaves with a rake.
Periodically brush the turf with a stiff brush so that the turf remains upright.
Remove weeds as soon as they appear.
